An increasing number of customers are choosing to utilize distribution for higher
volume purchases as part of their strategic supplier philosophy. Distribution must be an
extension of our sales team. To accomplish this, we must develop an open and trusting
relationship with all levels of our distributor network.
Northport conducts sales and
technical training sessions and periodic reviews to insure that the slogan "you
sell best what you know best and feel most comfortable with" applies to products
represented by Northport. We also make ourselves available for buddy calls with our
distributors. Approximately 30% of our principals products currently flow through
this distribution channel.
